Acoustic Music Shop Policies

 

• A hard case is preferable over a soft case or gig bag. Acoustic Music will not accept responsibility for any damage to an instrument due to the absence of, or an insufficiently protective case.

• After thorough inspection and evaluation of an instrument, we will provide an estimate for the work we’ve agreed upon. We do our best to stick to that estimate but in some cases that is not always possible. In these instances, we will contact you to approve any additional work or costs.

• Space is at a premium and we cannot afford to store your instrument unnecessarily. Unless previously arranged, any instrument that is not picked up within 7 days after notification of completion may incur a $5 per day storage fee. This rate increases to $10 per day after 14 days after notification of completion.

• Any instrument not picked up after 30 days after the third notification of completion without prior arrangements or contact will be considered abandoned, and can be sold to cover cost of parts, storage, and labor.

• Instruments may be brought in for one complimentary follow-up adjustment for 30 days after completion of any setup or other service that includes a setup, at the discretion of Acoustic Music.
